Built in the 1960's as what was once a small beach cottage belonging to the late Zio Mario, was transformed in his honour, into a beautiful sea-side residence.
Since then, Amerigo and the family have invested annually in upgrading and renovating the Rotonda residence into what it is today: servicing 9 apartments, offering a large communal terrace area for guests to sun-bathe, enjoy lunch or sun-downers; as well as a beachfront bathing area with a platform over the sea and full use of amenities including showers, kayaks, deck-chairs and floatables. The downstairs reception area features a snack bar serving light lunches and snacks, fully stocked bar and gelateria; reading lounge, flatscreen TV and free access to wireless internet connection.
With the anticipation of the arrival of the new beach in Forio, La Rotonda sul Mare will officially be your Holiday Apartments, Beach and Seaside Residence of Forio d'Ischia.
